Recognizing and Sustaining Volunteers: Focusing on the “R” in ISOTURE

Presented by

Professional Development: Volunteerism Working Group

Webinar Abstract

The ISOTURE model of volunteer administration provides an overview of the major responsibilities of volunteer managers. Each letter represents a different facet of the job and each is necessary to create a consistent and supportive volunteer system. Although no letter or aspect of the job is more important than another, some may affect volunteer sustainability more than others. This is true for the “R” in the ISOTURE model, which stands for Recognition. Come learn innovative ways to recognize and appreciate your volunteers in order retain and sustain them in your program.
