For States Night Out, we have compiled a list of area restaurants in Lewisburg, a 20 minute drive from the Greenbrier, who are interested in hosting your group.  These restaurants have offered to do two seating times in an effort to accommodate multiple states visiting the town.  Area shops and galleries on Lewisburg’s main street also plan to remain open for shopping and exploring during the evening hours.

This list does not include chain restaurants that are also in Lewisburg.  For additional restaurant options in the area, please visit https://greenbrierwv.com/categories/food-and-drinks/restaurants.  Your group is welcome to stay at the Greenbrier and enjoy one of their many options - http://www.greenbrier.com/Dining/Restaurant-Collection/Dinner-Options .

In addition to dining out, there is an opportunity to see a show at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre.

“The Greenbrier Ghost” Musical at the Greenbrier Valley Theatre
1038 Washington Street E Lewisburg, WV 24901 | https://www.gvtheatre.org/

Greenbrier Valley Theatre will open on Wednesday, November 6th for a 7:30 pm show of their running production for our conference attendees.  States should contact Courtney Susman at Greenbrier Valley Theatre by email (courtney@gvtheatre.org) or phone (304-645-3838 x 106) no later than August 31st to purchase tickets. Starting September 1st, all remaining tickets will be opened to the public for purchase. Any states interested in attending the musical should reserve an early seating for dinner.

The musical production is “The Greenbrier Ghost” By Cathey C. Sawyer and Joe Buttram, Musical Arrangements by Jeremy Fenn-Smith. Description - The year is 1896 and newlywed Zona Heaster has been found dead. Her death is officially ruled as an “everlasting faint” but her mother Mary Jane knows better, and Zona’s ghost will help her prove it. A local legend, the trial went down in history as the only trial won based on the testimony of a ghost.

Musical prices for our attendees are:

·        $22.50 – regular

·        $20.25 – 60 years of age or older

·        $15 – student
