Member Recognition is looking for members with an interest in the awards program to serve as a regional contact-elect and then move into a regional chair position! We currently need to fill the following positions: Western Region Chair-Elect, Northeast Region Chair-Elect, and North Central Region Chair-Elect. Here’s a brief overview of what a regional chair does:
Serve a 2 year term.
Participate in committee meetings via Zoom (approximately 3 per year) and at National Meeting
Serve as the contact between state member recognition chairs and the regional/national level to share awards information
Work with state contacts to coordinate judging of regional awards
Assist with coordinating judging of specific national awards
